Project Spotlight: Children’s hospital nutrition program

Hospital1 Hospital2 Hospital3

Two years ago, a professional and registered dietitian traveling with PTTW visited the children’s ward of a local hospital and discovered that due to limited resources and training, many of the kids were not receiving adequate nutrition. This further complicated treatment and recovery for these children.

In response, she instituted a program for CURN university students to provide nutritious bedtime meals for 250 malnourished children in this nearby hospital.

Students are now running this program, with material support from generous PTTW donors.
