Our Purpose
Professionals to the World works to cultivate student leaders in developing nations. We sponsor United States professionals who use their existing expertise to teach seminars in their fields. (Interested? Learn more about how to participate or watch a short intro video.)

seminar

This vision was established and PTTW created to build on proven results.

Why It Works: Universities in the developing world have limited resources, materials, opportunities, and often lack state-of-the-art knowledge. PTTW seminars not only bring current information, but they also provide vision to motivate students and help accreditation.

We also sponsor locally-led community development and service projects, as a way for emerging leaders to practice what they are learning.

Our Passion
We want to:

  • Motivate future leaders in the development of their own country
  • Share knowledge and principles between the developed world and the developing world
  • Empower the emerging generation to change their society from despair to hope

We do not seek to change other countries to be like ours, but to help them realize their own potential.

Our Principles

OurValues

Knowledge - The facts and skills most commonly at the focus of a university experience, including technical, theoretical and social proficiencies.

Understanding- A grasp of how to properly apply available knowledge in a civil society, within a framework of law and justice, to achieve success in a manner compatible with the common good.

Wisdom - The ability to lead with character, as a moral agent who can discern the good, being solidly grounded in ethical principles including those based on historic Christian faith.

PTTW believes that the basic Christian ethics of honesty, integrity, diligence, and teamwork are foundational for successful business. Teaching these concepts is a fundamental work of the program.

Our Partners
PTTW conducts professional seminars at the invitation of universities in host nations. In Honduras, PTTW partners with Ministerio Renuevo (Renewal Ministry), a locally-led, Christian ministry active in several universities. Ministerio Renuevo does the extensive preparation and follow-up that the seminars require.

Our Process
We work by:

  • Raising financial support from businesses and interested individuals in the US
  • Providing scholarships and development opportunities to student leaders
  • Building resources (including facilities) on university campuses to provide career and life guidance
  • Bringing successful leaders and motivational speakers from the US to lecture in many different fields
