September 2011: Objectives for September 2011 trip to Honduras:
  1. Business Conference.  We will present a business conference in one or two cities in Honduras.  Invited will be business leaders in the country to attend this conference that will treat such issues as surviving in a declining economy, how to compete successfully in the world market and the values that are needed by employers and employees in order to succeed.  We will bring a group from the USA to present this conference along with some help from businessmen in Honduras.  This conference is anticipated to begin on Thursday night, countinue through Friday and finish on Saturday or it could be a one day conference.
  2. Promote the teaching of V&P in the churches in Honduras.  All of the principles in the V&P can be found in the bible and are a basic part of discipleship.  Unfortunately, they are seldom taught.  Eric Venezuela, the pastor of the El Camino Church that meets on Sunday afternoons at the New Life EFC facility, has agreed to come with us.  He will speak to groups of pastors similar to what Jeff Noble did in the past but focus on waking them up to this need and the opportunity for them to reach their community.
  3. Barb Hermanson to will teach the university professors her class on expository writing.  This would be a big boon to the university community as it would greatly help the students to do better.
  4. Promote the V&P teaching among the military.  Jim Hermanson could do this and has the credentials to make it possible.  Even if we have an agreement with the military for the V&P book, a series of seminars would be a big help to motivate this teaching and emphasize how important it is.
